More Lightroom Goodness
If you haven’t guessed by now, I’m a big fan of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. I’ve been using it for a few years now and would be lost without it. As time goes on, it has become a bigger and bigger part of my workflow. Recently, Adobe released a new beta version of the next release. I put it on my ‘puter, played around with some test files, and so far it seems like this will be a great release. Some of the functions don’t work yet and word is that the folks at Adobe haven’t even included all the new features yet. That’s the way things work in the beta world I guess. You can download it for free here and give it a test drive.
I found a few pages out here on the interwebs dealing with Lightroom in general that I think would help just about anyone who uses Lightroom in their workflow. Simple tips, yet good, solid advice. The first one is on Ron Sylvans site Photo Focus. A solid 10 item list for sure. The next one is from Scott Kelbys Photoshop Insider. Another solid 10 point list.
While a few of the points made might not make that much sense to new users, they will make sense in time.
