Bus Races 2013

Had some serious fun with my family Saturday night at Illiana Motor Speedway! I didn’t make a lot of pictures because of the fence but then again, this was so much fun you just wanted to watch everything. The place was packed, the beer was flowing, and we witnessed some crazy driving. We all did agree however, that the guy that almost won the last race was just driving his work truck and is probably out looking for scrap as you read this!

I met some great people too! Everyone was incredibly friendly and I even got to see my daughter in law go into teacher mode when two of her students from last year came over to say hi. When worlds collide! She handled it very well! It’s a shame this only happens once a year. Getting pit passes next time for sure.
