Cloud Gate

Cloud Gate, aka The Bean is a big destination for tourists and locals alike. It’s a great place to people watch without a doubt. The view of the city from Millennium Park is nothing short of spectacular and it is for the most part, always crowded. Making a picture of The Bean without people in it is next to impossible but I have a trick or two up my sleeve for a future post. Another thing is that there are so many pictures of it out there it’s hard to capture a unique view of it. Just one of those things.

When I was at Cloud Gate the last weekend it was a slightly overcast day and the place was packed. I decided to make people pictures and just include a portion of the bean. The picture above is what I came up with. I was surprised at how clean this picture was. You can see below how crowded it gets around there. One thing is for sure though, everyone is having a good time. Cloud Gate is a fun place to visit and a real challenge to photograph.
