Trees 6/9/14

I like to walk. I really like taking walks in the woods. There are a few places near me that are fun to explore. Bartel Grassland is one of them. It’s encompasses around 700 or so acres and has it all including water, trees, and wildlife. One thing it doesn’t have is trails. Works for me. Not many people wander around out there because of that and everything is pretty much untouched.

The picture above is from a stand of pine trees. I have been practicing my b&w technique using Lightroom and Google’s Nik SilverEfex. I have been working on it off and on for while trying to get a nice higher contrast picture. I think I’m getting pretty close to what I want.
