Lake & Wells

Cross one off the bucket list. I have had this picture of the intersection of Lake & Wells on my list for over 20 years. I have taken many pictures of it but was never happy with the results until a couple of weeks ago. I chose to go with b&w here to show more contrast. This frame looked good in color but the b&w version here really popped in my opinion.
It doesn’t happen often enough for me but I’m not sure I could improve this one. That’s not to say that I won’t stop by and give it a try every so often. It’s a great scene!

I think you are right – I do not think there is anything you can improve in this one. The symmetry and non-symmetry, the contrasts and the straight lines all fall in place. I really enjoyed getting drawn in by this photograph.
